About the challenge

Join us at The Bridgewater Hall for an intensive three-day innovation sprint that will reshape how UK charities serve their communities. As one of three simultaneous locations across the UK and Ireland, the Manchester hub brings together the UK's leading technical minds with charitable organisations ready for digital transformation.

Requirements

Challenge Format:

Day 1- Ignite Your Innovation
Inspiring keynotes and charity deep-dives, followed by AWS and GenAI workshops, team formation, and initial brainstorming. We will finish the day off with a cross-hub networking session, setting the stage for collaborative problem-solving and innovative solution design in the days to follow.

Day 2 - Build & Create
Intensive development sprints where teams work hands-on with their solutions while receiving real-time guidance from AWS Solutions Architects and technical support teams. Throughout the day, teams engage in cross-hub collaboration sessions and progress check-ins with charity partners, ensuring their developments align with real-world needs and technical requirements.

Day 3 - Perfect & Present
Final refinement and optimization of solutions, followed by presentation preparation workshops and crucial testing and deployment phases. The event concludes in cross-city virtual presentations to judges and stakeholders, leading to an awards ceremony celebrating top innovations and a closing reception focused on future collaboration opportunities.
